Join Fife Out and About walking and outdoor group

Prospective members are invited to walk with us as a guest for up to two walks before joining us.

Our membership year is April to April and we are able to offer a pro-rata rate for new members joining us after April.

We have two categories of membership.

Full Member
Associate Member

Full membership entitles you to join any of our walks.
It currently costs £21.15 inclusive of Mountaineering Scotland club membership. If you already hold Mountaineering Scotland membership you only need to pay £1.00.
The Mountaineering Scotland club membership gives you civil / public liability insurance along with other valuable benefits such as discounts with outdoor retailers and accommodation providers.
Full members are welcome to organise / host group walks.

Associate members are should only participate in low level (bronze grade) walks and evening walks.
Associate membership currently costs £1.00 and does not include Mountaineering Scotland membership.
Associate members are not covered by our civil / public liability insurance although they may still be held liable for incidents involving the group.
Associate members are not able to benefit from Mountaineering Scotland discounts with retailers and accommodation providers.
Due to the lack of insurance cover, Associate members are not encouraged to organise walks for the group.
